Fairchild C-119G Flying Boxcar model airplane

The earliest prototype, a XC-82, was first flown on September 10, 1944, with the C-119 actually being ordered for production in 1947. C-119s gave excellent service during operation in Korea and Vietnam, as well as in a wide variety of other heavy transpot applications. C-119s also served with the air forces of Belgium, Brazil, Ethiopia, India, Italy, Nationalist China, and South Vietnam, many supplied under the Military Assistance Program. In addition, some surplus military aircraft, both C-82s and C-119s, were acquired by civil operators. The C-119G had a cruising speed of 200 mph, and a range with standard fuel of 2,280 miles.

All airplane models are Hand Carved, Hand Painted Mahogany and comes fully assembled with removable desk stand.
